Touchstone Founder and Managing Director, Chris Klingbeil, is one of Australia's leading senior executive search consultants, having worked in Australia and USA servicing top 100 and multinational corporation clients.

 

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Chris moved to Australia in 1994, and built a career in senior sales, marketing, and general management roles, in marketing, public relations, media and technology companies.

 

While in these roles, Chris advised and partnered at management team level with many of Australia's top 50 corporations, federal government departments, and not-for-profit organisations.

 

In 1999 Chris was recruited to join Houser Martin Morris, one of the USA's highest respected executive search firms, where he worked on CEO, VP and Director level searches for clients such as Microsoft and Amazon.

 

Returning to Australia in 2000, Chris helped launch a senior executive search firm specialising in the FMCG sector.

 

Over the next few years, Chris became one of Australia's most respected FMCG senior search consultants, interacting at CEO level with business leaders from the largest corporations in the FMCG space.

 

In 2003 Chris founded Touchstone Consulting Executive Search, taking his executive search approach to a broader industry base.

 

With an innovative client model, a positive reputation in the Australian business world, and active dialogue with the candidate marketplace, Touchstone Consulting Executive Search increased its footprint quickly, and continues to raise the bar in terms of execution, ethics and service.

 

Chris includes in his personal achievements his marriage, his children, completing numerous half and full marathons and other long distance events, and coaching youth basketball.
